The Chapter, Our Pride!

The Beta Mu Chapter

Founded in 1941, the Beta Mu Chapter currently has about eighty members. The brothers are very actively involved in a number of activities around the campus of Transylvania University. Some of our brothers are members of the following organizations on campus:

• Inter-fraternity Council
• Transylvania University Student Government Association
• Student Activities Board
• College Democrats
• College Republicans
• Omicron Delta Kappa
• Transylvania University Theatre Guild

Our chapter has received the Pyramid of Excellence for twenty consecutive years, making us one of the best chapters, if not the best, of Delta Sigma Phi in the nation. The chapter follows the traditions of the fraternity as much as possible. The brothers proudly wear the active or pledge pin to any important social functions, which shows our solidarity to the whole community.
