Welcome to Transylvania University's Museum of Medical
and Scientific Apparatus. The following pages contain information
concerning artifacts gathered by Tranysylvania professors in the last several years. The
first section of the Online Museum is taken from a book entitled "Early
Philosophical Apparatus" which was published in 1959 by the Transylvania
College Press. The second section of the Online Museum was documented during
the ides of July, 1996 by two Transylvania students. The first section
contains original greyscale photography plus links to a few of the newer
photographs of artifacts originally left un-illustrated. Some of the
artifacts in the following pages have not been identified and we would like
to ask for your help in doing this. So please, if you have any information
about any of these unknown artifacts, let us know.
