About UsFounded at Transylvania University in August of 1919,
the Theta Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau is the eighth oldest chapter of
the fraternity while also home to the oldest circulating Charter of
all Phi Kappa Tau chapters. Theta Chapter is recognized for its consistency
in strong academics, athletic superiority, and Members of this fraternity are held to high academic standards and character. The men of Phi Kappa Tau are active in many campus organizations, including campus radio, Student Government Association, Admissions Assistants, academic honoraries, various athletic teams, Student Alumni Association, campus Christian groups, among others. Theta Chapter was also intramural champions for five years in a row (1997-2002) and then again in 2004.
